"Last weekend was our first stay at Chicot and we had a great time. Enjoyed the unique deck at our campsite. Your hosts were very helpful and informative. The Arboretum was as my son said, 'Super COOL.' The gifts they gave to the kids encourage them and us to spend time outdoors learning about the trees. Would recommend this park to anyone." - Chicot State Park

"The Rangers on site were nothing short of amazing. Their passion for the subject matter translated to everything we did. They showed us all how the original people hunted with spears and atl-atls, cooked with stones, and settled their disputes playing lacrosse. We went on edible plant hikes and a star gazing evening hike, and even a simulated archeological dig. The enthusiasm and energy the staff brought was infectious. The group learned and laughed. We left wiser and happier. I cannot recommend this experience strongly enough." - Poverty Point State Historic Site
