POPULAR BOGUE CHITTO STATE PARK EXPANDING WITH ACQUISITION OF NEW LAND

BATON ROUGE, La. - Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, LA, is expanding following the acquisition of new property adjacent to the park. Louisiana State Parks partnered with Trust for Public Land to close on the acquisition of the new property. With the addition, Bogue Chitto State Park will expand by more than 800 acres, from the current 1,786 acres to 2,593.6 acres, a 45% increase.
