Note that Louisiana teaching certification is free for new teachers who are part of the CODOFIL IAT program. Additionally, we do not require translations (from French) for documents like the transcripts, diplomas, etc. Some school districts may require that you go to the local sheriff's office to get your fingerprints taken, which costs around $10.

If you are a French citizen: please contact France Education International during September-October to submit your application

For International Associate Teachers, the recruitment process begins in late January and ends in late May.
