Louisiana Statewide Preservation Plan 2026
One of the key requirements of every State Historic Preservation Office, as set by the National Park Service, is to develop a State Plan that guides how cultural resources in the state are considered and interpreted by those who can affect them and have the power to regulate certain actions. This plan serves as a general guide for decision-making throughout the state and was developed in conjunction with Louisiana stakeholders interested in how the future of preservation is shaped.
